The Corstorphine Hill series was the result of several factors coming together. Around 2010 I discovered vintage cameras, the lith printing process and the possibilities offered by photographing regularly in the same area, in this case, Corstorphine Hill, located right at my doorstep. This long term project sparked my interest in how photography and the printing process can render a familiar space into something new, an alternate reality.

These photographs formed my first solo exhibition at the Coburgh House in Edinburgh in July 2015.
