Casa de Campo. Unseen

When I moved to Madrid in late 2018 with my family, Casa de Campo quickly became more than just a park to me. Between caring for my daughter and adjusting to a big city, I would slip away to the park and let myself get lost in its paths and corners, camera in hand. With long-term photographic series, I explore how photography and the use of alternative processes can reshape our perception of a place we think we already know.

The nature I photograph is not remote or untouched, but urban, communal, and imperfect. Yet I find in it an inherent beauty we can delve into, even if only for a short moment. I like to think of them as gentle reminders to myself and to others to slow down and pay attention. Each image reflects my own process of finding belonging in a new place, but also extends an invitation: to see the familiar differently, and to find moments of stillness in the midst of daily life..
