Mont d’Or is the local hill dominating the small town of Manosque, in Provence, where I lived with my family for a year between 2024 and 2025. The top of the hill is covered with olive trees surrounding the remains of an old castle, just two walls of one of the castle’s towers, though it makes for a very recognisable landmark as you approach the town.
